Okay so I’ve been looking at tumblr recently, and decided that I would put up an update as to where Gail Carriger’s Soulless Parasol Protectorate #1.
So about a week ago I picked up the book from B&N after a teacher of mine recommended it to me, seeing as I love steampunk and Victorian England. Any who, After I finished reading it—three days after I picked it up—I was in love!!! I was so taken in by the book! It’s hilarious, witty, & well written—kudos Miss Carriger. I loved the plot & character development, especially those of Alexia Tarabotti and Lord Conall Maccon (of course upon starting the book and seeing the Scottish spelling of his name, I felt like ramming my head into my bedroom wall—for personal, hilarious reasons that only so few of my companions are aware of.)
Anyway, after finishing and rereading the book I ordered the remaining books of the series last Sunday. Upon picking them up, I immediately began reading them. And I will soon post about the series as I read them.  :)
Much Love and Thank You
